About Us

Set on the foundation of 2 Timothy 2:2, Sam and Lori are passionate about raising up leaders inside Christ's Church. Their main goal is to help believers actively and personally hear from the Living God that we serve so that they can receive the direct guidance that they will need in whatever God calls them to. In this way, they hope to train up a generation of to heed the voice of God and teach others to do the same.

Our Story

After leaving a position inside of a large formal ministry, Sam and Lori were brought to a full-time house-parenting position at a school for at risk youth. With the apostolic call on their lives to train up leaders, they didn't understand this new direction at first until the Lord gave them this verse of scripture:

"And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." (2 Timothy 2:2)

Behind the Name

After reading this verse, Sam knew pretty immediately that their ministry endeavor would be called "222 Ministries" but Lori wasn't as sure, so they decided to pray and ask the Lord for confirmation. They were on their way back from a conference they had attended when they needed to stop to use the bathrooms and pick up a few things. So, they re-routed to get off at the next exit, which "happened" to be exit 222! Lori laughed but was still unsure so she asked the Lord for one more confirmation of this being the name. As they walked around the gas station to pick up their favorite water, the total price of their purchase before leaving was $2.22. They looked at each other and just knew this was the Lord confirming His will for 222 Ministries.

Behind the Logo

The logo features a cross created from a triple stranded braid. The braid is triple-stranded to represent the Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and to showcase the number two which occurs three times in the name of this ministry. The Bible says,

"A cord of three strands is not easily broken." (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

The three colors of the braid in the logo represent one of each of the three persons of God; red or ruby to represent Jesus, gold to represent the Father, and silver to represent the Holy Spirit. As these three precious materials and persons are woven together, we get the perfect plan of God to send His Son to die on a cross that we might be saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit and join Him forever in glory.

Behind the Calling

The "things" (referred to in 2 Timothy 2:2) that the Lord desires Sam and Lori to train others in is in hearing and obeying His voice as He speaks to each believer personally and individually. They believe that while submission inside the church body, active fellowship, and counsel are all amazing things that we need in our lives as Christians, we are also called to have direct and personal fellowship with the Lord Himself. In this way, there ought to be no mediator between us and God, except the man Christ Jesus who died to reconcile us back to our Father in Heaven.

When every person learns to become one in mind and spirit with the Lord, their lives become fully in subjection to His will for them. It is here that they are best able to lead in the way God intends them to as members of His body.

Meet The Team

Sam Biggar

Sam encountered the Love of God at age 14. From that point forward life has been an adventure of relationship with Jesus.

After following the call of God to go to college after high school, Sam graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. Since then Sam has earned 3 more degrees; a B.S. in Counseling, an M.A. in leadership and an M.S. in Mental Health/Counseling. Now Sam continues his education pursing a PhD.

Sam has worked in ministry for years as a teacher, deacon, elder, pastor and counselor and is also a published author with one completed book and several in the works.

Personally, Sam and Lori have three grown children and 6 grandchildren. Sam enjoys gardening, woodworking, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Lori Biggar

Born and raised in a long legacy of amazing believers, it wasn't until her senior year of a Christian high school in New York that Lori was actually saved. Just four months thereafter, she met Sam and they began dating and within that same year, they were married!

Lori personally knows the amazing truth of the Gospel — that God not only covers a multitude of sins but then goes above in beyond, bringing us into an incredible new life and relationship with Him. She absolutely loves helping others come into the personal knowledge of the same.

Trained through Elijah House Ministries and holding a Bachelor's degree in theology, Lori is skilled at helping others navigate through traumatic events in their life from a Biblical and Holy Spirit led perspective.

She is also a gifted musician and vocalist through both family inheritance and formal training. With this gift, the Lord has used Lori in a variety of ways to bring others healing through the music that she plays and creates.

They are fearlessly committed to pressing forward into all God calls them to, and we are so grateful that our marriage and life was something the Lord placed a deep care for within their hearts.

This is such a treasure about them: they genuinely seek God in prayer for everything that they do! They only want to give His counsel and His understanding to those they minister to, so sometimes it may take a few days to hear back from them about a question or a situation we have, but we know that it is because they are seeking the Lord for His guidance and waiting on Him for counsel. This creates an environment of relationship where it is the Lord Himself -- through them -- leading us on our journey, deepening our dependance on Him.

We thank God for this truly loving, prayerful couple that have become like family to us and to our own children."
