Identity pt. 2

Being a follower of Jesus is who we are, not just part of our life.

Too often people put on their Christianity like a robe on Sunday and take it off when they leave church. Those who are truly followers of Jesus make Him a part of everything they do in this life. He is not something to fit in here and stick in there.. He is to be central to everything and the reason why we do anything. This is only possible by walking in the Spirit as Paul talks about in Galatians 5:16.

Walking in the Spirit is only possible if we ‘hear God’s voice’ like Jesus talks about in John 10:27-28. This way we know what it is that He wants us to do in every moment of every day. We live in the attitude of close relationship with Jesus so that we truly pray, or talk to God without ceasing.
